About Us

Honoring the Legacy of Ethiopia

Adwa Cultural and Historical Alliance was established in 2017 to create a lasting space where Ethiopia’s culture and history can thrive, especially for those born and raised in the diaspora. Ethiopia boasts a deep cultural heritage with over 12 UNESCO-listed sites, making it a nation of great historical significance.
Our mission is to make Ethiopian culture accessible to everyone. Through our museum, events, and educational programs, we engage both Ethiopians and non-Ethiopians in discovering and understanding the legacy of one of Africa’s most storied nations.

Poetry and Literature Nights

Every month, we host poetry and literature nights, where students, adults, and community organizations come together to share their creativity. This event provides a platform for poets, writers, and storytellers to showcase their talents while connecting with their roots.
